In the context of an innovation initiative, Ärztekasse is renewing and extending their products. To support this digitalization step, we are looking for smart and experienced engineers to contribute and shape clever and creative solutions for a meaningful industry.

Project Manager (m/w)

Main Tasks

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Create detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments and stakeholders.
  • Implement mitigation plans to address potential risks proactively.
  • Update risk logs and communicate risks to stakeholders.
  • Track project progress against milestones and timelines.
  • Identify and address issues that may impact project delivery.
  • Establish and enforce quality control processes.
  • Facilitate testing and validation phases.
  • Create and deliver regular project reports for stakeholders and management.
  • Facilitate project handoff to operations or maintenance teams if applicable.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and modern software delivery practices (must).
  • Technical background enabling effective collaboration with engineering teams and understanding of application architectures (must).
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • 5+ years as a project manager in IT-related area.
  • Solid understanding of IT concepts, technologies and IT tools.
  • Project management and leadership skills for managing projects and the teams involved.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members and management, and to explain technical issues clearly.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to handle any issues during project execution.
  • Excellent resource planning and task scheduling skills.
  • Fluency in English (German, French is an asset).
  • Knowledge of Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of tariffication and medical billing is a plus.
